"Li'l Abner"

I developed this hammer to be used by the professional metalworker as well as the home hobbyist. It would best be described as a medium duty hammer. It can be operated by a generic 5hp air compressor and will return a 60% duty cycle with such. At 750 plus pounds, with an 80lb ram, it certainly is not a toy. I designed it to be clean and quiet with a small (18" x 34") footprint. The footpedal allows the operator to situate himself comfortably relative to the dies, whether the piece be long or short, or where on the dies you want to hammer. It is very controllable and easy to use.

Ready to use hammers are made to order and can be purchased for $4150 (plus shipping). Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. For those who want to build it themselves I offer a complete plan set with drawings, bill of materials and assembly instructions for $225. For $550 I offer a basic kit that includes the cylinder and control valve with the plans.

Lastly for $725 I offer a deluxe kit, which is the basic kit plus all the pneumatic pieces plus tubing, brass fittings and hoses. I have been using my hammer for 3 ½ years and am very satisfied with the performance and versatility.
