Renaissance Metal Art is your resource for handmade custom knives which are made with high quality materials and crafted with skill. These knives are replicated from historical designs and techniques which can be a valuable piece to any collection.
A tomahawk or hawk is an early form of a weapon/tool used by the Native Americans. It is described as a type of axe which traditionally resembles that of a hatchet with a straight shaft. Custom Tomahawks were used by the Native American people as throwing weapons, survival tools and for trading purposes. Today they are used for competitive throwing events, martial arts and historical re-enactments.
Damascus knives were developed in Near Eastern counties and used as sword and knife blades. They are classified by their wavy patterns that come from making a billet of mixed steel in alternating layers. These steels are forge welded together, then folded and welded multiple times. They are then twisted, drilled, slotted, and manipulated to achieve various patterns.
Other forms of hand forged knives that Renaissance Metal Art offers are Hunting Knives, Camp Knives, Claw Style Knives and Kitchen Cutlery. As well as Renaissance Metal Art's signature knife the Bykr Bladz, which is made from the triple row chain used on a Harley Davidson Sportster primary drive.
Knives do not come with sheathes. If you want a sheath I can make one, in leather, for $50-$70, depending on style of knife.
